DueCircle — Split Expenses, Track Bills, Stay Friends

The challenge

Shared money gets awkward fast — roommates splitting rent, families managing household bills, friend groups on trips. Everyone keeps score in their head, and nobody remembers who paid last. We built DueCircle as a Progragon product to make shared expenses transparent, fair and friction-free — without ever touching anyone's bank account.

What we built

• Built five ways to split any expense — equal, exact, percentage, shares or fully custom.
• Added settlement optimization that works out the minimal set of transfers to clear all debts.
• Included bill reminders for recurring expenses and full history with audit trails.
• Supported multiple currencies with correct decimal handling for trips abroad.
• Designed it privacy-first: no bank connections, no financial holds — and 100% free forever.
